Can someone tell me how I save photos to a 2TB external hard drive from Lightroom CC?
Thanks,

What exactly do you want to save? Exported photos? A copy of your originals? The Lightroom Library? The latter cannot be saved on an external drive. It is hard wired to your Pictures folder.

Hi Johan. I was hoping to import all my photos to Lightroom CC and get them all organized in there, then, I was wanting to save/export ALL of those pictures to a 2 TB external hard drive. Is this even do-able?
Thanks for your input.

Assuming you are referring to the cloud-centric Lightroom desktop app (the "CC" was dropped from all the Adobe apps several years ago), then yes you can select all the images and export them (there are various different export options). During the export process you will be able to specify the external drive as the target location for the exported files.

Thanks for your reply, Jim, I really appreciate it.
I am talking about the cloud-centric version of Lightroom. I believe it was called Lightroom CC when I subscribed to it years ago, but I think it may be referred to as Adobe Photoshop Lightroom now. Does that sound correct? I find the fiddling around with the names of the various products to be very confusing for me.
My main concern is being clear and understanding if I can take ALL the photos I will have stored inside Lightroom, and export them to a 2 TB external harddrive, so that they are all safe in another location.
Your answer seemed to indicate that I can indeed do this without much difficulty.
Thanks very much for your experience and the time to answer me.
