Search filtering by extension doesn't work

I take photos in Fuji RAF format and JPG format. When I import the photos, I want to browse one or the other. Unfortunately, the filter doesn't work. It will show me some of my JPG photos when filtered by extension, but not all of them. As a result, I have to forgo filtering to make sure I see all my images. This is an extremely frustrating issue to have, as basic filtering by extension should work without issue.

How are you doing the filtering? For me type:raw and extension:jpg works
