Explorer ,
Jul 24, 2025 Jul 24, 2025

y'all busted the ability to share more than one photo for lightroom on android a couple of weeks ago.   following a multi- select, then share,  the menu items are non responsive.

what's the eta for this basic functionality being restored?

FYI, apparently if you have non-responsive share menus, clearing the app's cache and data 'fixes' things.

putting it here in the event it happens to someone else.

I am unable to reproduce this failure with the instructions provided.

okay then

lightroom v10.4.4, on a Samsung s24+ running android 15, last updated on June 1.

just reproduced it again.  Happens every time for me.

  1. lightroom tab selected, viewing 'all photos'
  2.  tap/hold two photos to select them
  3.  tap the 'share' thingy at the bottom
  4.  sharing menu shows up
  5.  neither 'save to device' nor any of the other item do anything beyond highlighting to acknowledge the tap

if you're unable to repro this, please include version numbers for both lightroom and the os ... a passing 'no repro' doesn't give me confidence that we're running the same steps on similar bits.

OK, then:
Lightroom v10.4.4, on a Galaxy S10 with Android 12
Lightroom v10.4.4 on a Pixel 9 Pro with Android 15

  1.  Lightroom tab selected, viewing 'all photos'
  2.  Tap/hold two photos to select them
  3.  Tap the 'share' thingy at the bottom
  4.  The sharing menu shows up
  5.  'Save to device' and all of the other options function normally.

rikk, do you have any constructive suggestions other than maybe borrowing your phone each time I want to share a couple of photos?
