I'm a long time Photoshop user (since around 1995) but haven't used Lightroom before. But I downloaded the app to see how useful it would be on a tablet. I was required to sign in, and did it just through my google account.

But then I got a notice (I might be paraphrasing a little) that basically said anyone can see my photos. And I freaked out and uninstalled it. I just want something to edit with on my tablet, not a broadcast machine. This isn't about doing anything illegal, just about privacy.

Am I jumping to conclusion as to what Lightroom does with anything I'm working on? ARE they visible somewhere somehow beyond my control? Or does that simply mean it's possible with a link?

Hey, @J.33318226ganb. Welcome to the Lightroom Ecosystem. I'll clarify this for you.

You might've seen onboarding slides related to how easy it is to share your work in a few clicks. Lightroom does not share your work & images with anyone unless you intend to share & invite them.

You can check here to understand how albums are shared:https://adobe.ly/3UeaIoZ;

I hope it helps. Thanks!
