I had photos in stacks when I was using Lightroom Classic. I recently migrated to Lightroom CC (Cloud version) and when viewing all photos, I can still see my stacks. However if I do any search such as by person, location or date, the stacks disappear. When I select photos to create a stack (which is present when viewing all photos), the Edit>Stacks>Group into Stack is greyed out and I can't create a stack. Do stacks only work when viewing all photos?
You cannot stack photos in a search result, because next time the result of this search may be different. You can only stack images in All Photos or in an album.
