Just updated to the newest version Lightroom CC Version 7 (Released Oct 10th 2023) and noticed that in gallery view my ability to limit my views to specific stars, flags, are gone. Anyone else having this issue?

To Filter by various attributes, such as Flags, Ratings, etc., you need to be in Grid view (either type of Grid) and then use the Filter bar (click on the filter icon at the right hand side of the main Search Bar, top centre of the screen). Then set whatever filters options you wish to use. See screenshot.

If you are doing that and it's not working as expected we'll need some details of what happens when you try, plus a screenshot of the filter bar options that you have set.

Oh geez, see I knew I was just missing something. I hit every single button but that one right next to the bar that is the filter bar. Thanks!
