Can you stitch in regular Lightroom or do you have to get the classic which i dont see?

If by "regular Lightroom" you mean the cloud-based Lightroom (current version 4.1) then you can merge 2 or more images into a panorama, if that's what you mean by "stitching". Select the images, then Photo Menu>Photo Merge>Panorama Merge.
