Strange color fringing artifacts only when copying and pasting settings in Lightroom (macOS)

I've recently noticed when copying and pasting settings from one photo to another, I'm getting weird, blocky colr fringing around high-contrast areas of the photo. It only happens when copying and pasting settings. If I manually apply the same edits, I don't get the same artifacting. Niether the photo I'm copying from nor the photo I'm copying to have any sort of masking either.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry about the issue in Lightroom while copy-pasting settings.

Could you please share the version of Lightroom (Help > About Lightroom) and the macOS version on your computer?

Is this happening with a particular image or all images? Did you try any troubleshooting steps so far?

Please disable the graphics processor, go to Preferences->Performance to uncheck the "Use Graphics Processor" box.

Once done, relaunch Lightroom.

You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e.

Please backup your presets prior to resetting the preferences.

Let us know how it goes. Happy to help!

Thanks.

Ranjisha
