Stuck on Checking Photos

I am currently trying to load a backup of my lighroom catalog and have been stuck at 0 for the past 2 hours. I replaced the catalog installed by default when lightroom was installed on my new machine with the backup and double clicked it to open lightroom. Am I doing something wrong?

Is this Lightroom Classic or Lightroom Ecosystem (Cloud based)?

This was cloud. It eventually did resolve its own issue. Took around 12 hours but it did it

Same problem here. Moved LR (cloud based, but originals stored on computer) from old to new Mac, and stucked on 45 photos of 19000 after 2 hours. Launched LR first time from the catalog in Finder. If i relaunch LR, it starts from scratch. Any suggestions?

Resolved for me as well: 2 hours 45 photos, and another 2-3 hours 19000 photos.... 😁
