Specs below, after using Lightroom classic for years without any issues I had to subscribe to CC as classic no longer boots, no idea why, on my system.
I have a lot of photos and trying to sync this online ( which wasn't a feature I wanted) was dog slow despite having a decent broadband connection, so getting fed up with it I disabled it.
BUT when I am using Lightroom for fairly simple editing it will suddenly utilise every system resource it can, power up fans up everything stutters and slows down for up to a minute then pops back, happens every 5-10 photos its very annoying, all drivers are up to date, its not like I am running on the low end of system specs with 32gb RAM and a Ryzen 7. Its getting ot the point now where its so annoying its almost unusable. I have a fairly clean and healthy system, lots of drive space, fast SSD drives. Classic was better, ran better and wasn't this clunky, at a tenner a month it may be time to rebuild an old laptop just to use classic as this is useless. Especially so when I can come back from a weekend at a festival or Triathlon with 6-10000 images. Not worth the pain at them moment.
