Tools not available in Lightroom for Android, even with subscription active

Hello!

 

I have a subscription for the "Lightroom 1TB" for almost one year and I mostly use Lightroom Mobile (Android) and web cloud based version. However in the last few days my Android Lightroom app has most of the tools blocked ("greyed", or actually it appears with a blue icon with a star inside), as if I were using a free version. I can use all the tools normally in web cloud version, but the Android app just won't allow me to use the tools, even though I'm logged in the same Adobe account.

 

My current app version is v10.5.4. Already tried deleting cache and reinstalling the app, but didn't work.

When you sign in to your account, are you using the same Adobe ID when you sign in to your Desktop version?

Hey!

 

Yes, I'm using the same Adobe account (same e-mail and everything). I can still see all the photos I update in desktop, and if I edit them in desktop, the edited version appears in my mobile app and I can download it, but still with most of the tools unabled.

 

If I select one of those tools, the app shows me the page to subscribe to "Lightroom Premium", even though I already have a Lightroom 1TB subscription.

Boa tarde.

 

Eu assino o plano Lightroom com 1TB e geralmente uso apenas o Lightroom app (Android) e também a versão web em nuvem. Contudo o meu app parou de reconhecer a assinatura e as ferramentas estão bloqueadas. Já chequei que estou logado na conta certa. Já reinstalei o aplicativo e ficou igual. Poderiam ajudar, por favor?

Thanks for confirming those details. If you’re still seeing the “Premium” lock icons even with an active Lightroom 1TB plan, please try the following steps carefully:

  • First, sign in to Lightroom Web and confirm that all your photos and edits are fully synced.

  • Once you’ve confirmed everything is safely synced, uninstall the Lightroom app from your Android device.

  • Restart your phone.

  • Reinstall Lightroom from the Google Play Store, then sign in again using the same Adobe ID linked to your Lightroom 1TB subscription.

 

Please let us know if the tools remain locked after reinstalling. We’ll work with the product team to investigate further if needed.
