Trouble Importing Photos from Files

Hi, I am having issues importing photos into lightroom. Whenever I try and import any photos into lightroom it says that they are unable to copy. Then the photos just don't import into lightroom at all. I have no clue why this is happening and I cant import any new photos into lightroom.

Just out of interest, to try to rule things out so someone can help, are there any errors when you import at http://lightroom.adobe.com/?

And does the same issue happen when you try to import jpegs?
