Trying to input

I am a newbie, when I plug in the card reader and I press the plus sign to add photos it never says  input anywhere on the screen. Please help me! Thank you in advance

What operating system? What exact version of Lightroom? If you are using Lightroom for the cloud, have you tried File/Add Photos?

Thank you for helping me, yes I have the cloud version and I just tried what you said and it worked!  I guess when I am looking how to do things online I should make sure they are talking about the cloud version. Thanks Kerry
