Unable to copy (Add Photos into Lightroom)

Do they upload via http://lightroom.adobe.com/?

Also is there a chance that they could exist in Lightroom already, but just not in the location you are viewing?

thanks for the response,
i'm new with lightroom and use it for the first time
i uploaded photos and edit and then continue in photoshop
when a photo is unable to upload i close lightroom and open again and then
it works/
am i missing something?🤔
