Unable to display local directory file information, unable to open local image files. LR Classic can, Bridge can, PS can, but LR can't. Version 8.2, downgraded to 8.1 and still can't

make sure you give lightroom full disk access in System settings->Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access. The first time you start the program it should ask you but that sometimes doesn't happen or you might have clicked it away thinking it was spam.
