I'm currently travelling with a combo of a Chromebook and Panasonic Micro 4/3 camera (shooting in RAW only), and for my photography with Lightroom CC for long term editing and storage, but at the moment I'm completely unable to import any of the images I'm shooting.

I'm running Lightroom CC 4.4.1 on a Chromebook (Android 7.1.1) and i'm unable to import any of the RAW (Panasonic .rw2) files shot. In the import dialog box i'm just shown black squares with the RAW tag, and any attempt to import these images results in a 'X photos failed to import' message. JPEG images shot on my phone import just fine.

Steps I've taken so far:

- Moved images from SD card to internal storage

- updated Lightroom CC to latest version (2x over the last few days)

- Signed in & signed out of lightroom

- reinstalled the app
