Unable to read Proxy Image used for editing

Hi, I get this error when trying to edit a Photo on my Mac comnputer. I am using Lightroom for Web.


Error is "Unable to read proxy image

An error occured reading the proxy image used for erditing."

 

Does anyone know what this means and how do I resolve this problem please.

It's probably best to ascertain where the  photo was imported from... Lightroom Mobile, Lightroom Desktop or was it synced from Lightroom Classic. Or direct into http://lightroom.adobe.com/

 

Also check that the photo has completed any outstanding sync processes.

Thanks. It was imported directly into Adobe.Lightroom web version. There
isn’t any other activity with the image as I am getting the same
error message for all images
