For selective edits, the "Auto show red overlay" option's behavior is unpredictable. It appears to work consistently when first creating a mask, but will appear and disappear seemingly at random when editing a preexisting one. A choice between "auto show" and "never show" is insufficient, an "always show" option so that users can explicitly toggle the overlay on or off would save a great deal of frustration with complex edits.
Placing these options in a context menu is also very inconvenient. The context menu does not open consistently, and in many cases will not display at all. Relying on a tap - hold on the anchor point to handle the mask toggles is also a workflow problem. It requires zooming out from the area being worked on, changing the selection, and returning to the previous view. A simple toggle (as exists in Lightroom Classic) to turn the overlay on and off would be far easier to work with and less disruptive in cases where frequent changes between modes are needed.

When working with selective edits, the interface (toolbars / panels) will periodically disappear without any obvious interaction. A single tap on the screen will toggle the panels, but this causes issues because it can take several attempts and is also interpreted as a brush stroke, resulting in "spots" in the edit mask from the touch interactions. Is there some touch gesture that can reliably show and hide the interface? There is nothing listed in the help menu for this.
