Is that a Lightroom problem? Lr, not LrC.
In LrC and Bridge I can literally edit almost all metadata.
Where are they in Lr? Tried to find them for half an hour, giving up. The Help menu item also shows zero results if you type "meta" (*)
To Adobe: Since Lr can also edit local files, I gave it a chance. Well, I'm back to LrC. Lr Looks like a crippled Bridge having some ACR functionality, but has max. only 1/10 or so of the functionality of LrC or Bridge/ACR.
(*) To all Windows users: on OSX and MacOS all apps have a "Help" menu item containing also an editable field. Typing a fraction of that what you're looking for, it shows you directly the corresponding menu positions. The last time when I was working with Windows (2005 or so), such a feature wasn't available in that OS.
