It comes out as a Raf from my Fujifilm XT2 camera digital , and I import it to my desk !
But to my surprise it comes as a Tif to Photoshop ?
Hmmmm Why ?

Which version of Camera Raw did you use to convert your RAW file?

JPGs do not support layers. They are flattened image files.
However, PSD and TIF can support layers.

Simple fact is that Photoshop (the App) cannot edit raw files.
Raw files must first be rendered ('demosaiced' by Lightroom, or Adobe Camera Raw) to be visible as an RGB 'document' in Photoshop.
So when you send any type of raw file (RAF, NEF, CR3, etc) to Photoshop it will always be rendered from Lightroom as a TIF in Photoshop. (Photoshop document formats also include- PSD, JPG, PNG, etc)
