Yes 4.1 is the latest version of LR Mobile on both iOS and Android but the problem is the camera limitation. The latest iPod Touch only has an 8mp camera. For DNG capture within the LR camera app a 12mp camera is necessary requiring iPhone 6s or later.

What phone are you using? You must have a supported device. One with the camera capability to capture in the DNG raw format.

It could be that the LR camera app cannot produce a DNG on the iPod touch. But you may be able to capture HDR in an Apple format by using the in-built camera directly. If preferred you can change Settings to capture HDR & jpeg. You could then add those images to LRCC.
