Wierd colors for videos in photo grid

Hi,

Some videos is displaying weird colors in the photo grid. All videos are from iPhone and is HDR videos. My hunch is that this is HDR gone wrong.

There is a funny thing about timing; there is some delay in the coloring. It seems like thumbnail is loaded and then the color filter is loaded. Only - it gets the wrong filter or something.

I've tried to disable GPU acceleration - my laptop supports basic acceleration on Intel Iris XE graphics.

Everything I can think of (GPU, System, Lightroom, everything else) is updated to newest version from respective vendors.

Any ideas?

You are probably right. Lightroom does not currently support HDR in videos or photos on the desktop version. Which is unfortunate since iPhones record video and stills in HDR by default. What you are seeing looks like it is badly trying to convert the preview image to a SDR image and failing. Probably not much to do except wait for Lightroom on the desktop to get with the times.
