Running macOS Big Sur 11.4 and Adobe Lightroom 4.3 on an M1 Mac Mini. Within the past week, when I open the Lightroom application I get an error saying "Can't connect to the server. Lightroom is having trouble connecting to the server. Please try again later." This has been going on for a week.

I have zero internet issues. I can access my photo albums online and on my iPhone app. I alreayed uninstalled all Adobe applications (including Creative Cloud) and reinstalled them, but still get the same error.

Anyone else with this problem? Solutions?

A few years ago with an older version and hardware I have a chat with a member of the team.

After going through many options the only thing that worked was the last one:

I deleted the whole

Lightroom Library.lrlibrary folder and let it rebuild from the Cloud.

You could try that. If you do, make sure you have a back up of any photos you have imported, but you know haven't synced yet.

Yeah, I tried that as well and still get the same error, sadly. Running out of ideas...

Hello!

Same here.

Hardware: Macbook Air M1 (16/512).

Lightroom 4.3

I tried Lightroom Classic and Photoshop too... work like charm.

So the problem is with the Cloud based Lightroom.

Sadly, the only way I was able to remedy the problem was to do a fresh install of MacOS. I then reinstalled all Adobe apps and everything resumed working without error. Still don't know what caused my original issue in the first place.
