LR 6 and Mobile

I´ve got LR 6 (not CC) in my MacBook Pro (2010 model) and I would like to get an IPad Pro for travelling purposes. I know that the mobile syncronization does not work if I don´t have the CC version. But can I export (or import from my laptop) the edited pictures to my MacBookPro LR 6 catalog so that the editings remain?
