In Lightroom desktop, we can shift double-click Whites or Blacks (the name of the slider), in the Basic panel in the Develop module to automatically set the white and black points in a photo.

Is it possibile to achieve this in Lightroom for iPad?

Thanks

Hi Webhatter,

This is not currently possible, but you can achieve the same effect by clicking the "Auto" button in the edit panel. This will set the highlights, shadows, whites and blacks, and will adjust the photo so that the white and black points are set just to the clipping point.

Note that this overrides other settings, so it's best to quickly do this at the beginning of your edit and then work from there.

If you want to reset the white pr black points after making additional adjustments, you'll need to drag the slider while pressing a second finger on the image to get the clipping view.

I hope that helps!

Mike
