Did I get it right that you connected a new catalog on your desktop machine, enabled a collection for sync and you are not seeing the result on you iPhone ? if not , could you double check if these photos are listed under Lr Web...https://lightroom.adobe.com

...if not, please double check if you are signed-in with the same adobe-id. - Guido
