Can't get passed the 7-day Free Trial screen

This is really frustrating ...

I bought a 1 year subscription to Lightrrom through my Apple ID. (Auto Renews Jan. 13th 2021)

When I try to use lighroom it takes me to a start a 7-day free trial screen. I then click on the bottom "Restore Your Purchase" and I get a message that says 

"Sorry, unable to restore your purchase" and the bottom it says "The Subscription has already been purchased from the Mac App Store with a different ID."

Sorry that your Lightroom Mac App Store subscription through Apple ID is not working.

It seems that the purchase you've made is linked to payment done via your Apple account.

If you've tried the steps mentioned in this article and they did not help, please checkout the steps below:

• Make sure that you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase. Sign in with a different Apple ID if you need to.
• Check the restrictions on your device to make sure in-app purchases are allowed.
• Restart your device. Here's how:
  • iPhone 
  • iPad 
  • iPod touch

• If you can't make an in-app purchase, try updating your payment information. 
• Learn how to turn off or require a password for in-app purchases.
• Learn how to view, change, or cancel your subscriptions.
• If you still need help, you can report a problem with your in-app purchase. You can also contact Apple support.
