Do I have to keep the preset photo in my Lightroom library?

I loaded and created a bunch of presets. I'd like to delete the dng from my gallery. Will that cause the preset to disappear? It was a lot of work, so I don't want to have to load them again.

Thanks,

Hi Michele,

If you copied the settings from those dng files and created presets from them, then you do not have to keep them in the library.

I hope this helps.
