iPhone 8 and Lightroom Mobile

I recently upgraded to iPhone 8 plus from iPhone 7. I have been an avid supporter of Lightroom Mobile and use it very effectively.  I automatically download my iPhone photos to Lightroom so that I can adjust them. With the new iPhone 8 and iOS 11, however, Lightroom is downloading all of my old iPhone photos, over 20,000, to Lightroom and I can't stop it.  It's been downloading for 3 days.  Any suggestions?  I thought about deleting Lightroom from my iPhone and reinstalling but I wasn't sure whether it would do the same thing.

Hi Marc,

Does it still sync the older images to your Lightroom desktop?

Also, could you please let us know which version of Lightroom desktop and Lightroom mobile are you using?
