Light Room Update for Sony ALPA One Camera RAW

Hi When is LR rolling out SONY A1 RAW edit support . As of now ARW file is not readable or ediate using Light Room Classic

Only Adobe knows for certain.  The Sony A1 is a very new camera and of the past is any guide, it may be several months before support will be released.  If you use a Mac, I don't believe that your version of the OS can support them either.

I use Fuji and the X-T4 was released last summer.  I "think" that Lightroom was able to read the raws last December (it could have been earlier) but Apple still has no support for the X-t4 raws.

This is one of the FUBAR things with new cameras these days --- the software guys and camera guys really need to do a better job of working together more so that users can use their RAW files natively sooner.

in the mean time, you likely can use a raw converter and convert to DNG.

There was an update today for Adobe Camera Raw (13.2) which does include raw support for the A1. Normally ACR updates are released at the same time as Lightroom updates, but not apparently today. However, it certainly means that whenever the Lightroom update is released it will include support for the A1.
