I'm struggling for syncing the edited photos from Lightroom to iCloud in my iPhone X (iOS 12.3.1). The followings are my workflow:
1. Import a photo from iPhone's Camera Roll to Lightroom
2. Edit the photo in Lightroom and then save back to Camera Roll
3. Delete the original photo in Camera Roll manually
4. The edited photo in Camera Roll synchronized to iCloud Library automatically
I can see that the photo in Camera Roll is the edited version. However, after it was synchronized to iCloud, it became the unedited version.
I tried to upload the edited phone to Google Drive and it worked fine. However, for Google Photos, the same issue happened.
Anyone has similar experience before and could give some suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Just made some tests and have a new thought.
When I see the photo in iCloud via browser, it looks ok. The problem is after download. Any chance it is caused by RGB and CMYK issue?
Thanks.

The problem is after download, to where? Using what process?
i don’t think CMYK could possibly have anything to do with this.
What happens if you don’t delete the original from the camera roll?

Hello Mike, I just download the image from iCloud to my PC via Firefox. I just tried to keep the original photo and the problem remained, but it reminds me that it might not be an "edited"/"unedited" issue but the ColourSpace.
Below are two edited image by Lightroom and download from iCloud and Google Drive. Checking their EXIF, the one from Google Drive has a defined ColourSpace using sRGB, but the one from iCloud does not.

Can we setup the output colourspace in Lightroom just like in Photoshop?
