Lightroom iOS auto converts Raws to jpegs when importing

So here's my issue:

I have Nikon Z6. I first use the Nikon WMU app to import raw photos onto my IPad pro. Once imported, I open Lightroom and import the Raw photos. However, they are automatically converted to JPEGs. But, if I use nikon WMU and open with lightroom, I can edit in Raw now. Anyone know what's going on?

Hi there,

That does not sound like a typical experience as Lightroom for ipad does not convert images when imported, would you mind sharing a raw file with us? So that we can test it at our end?

Also, what exact version of Lightroom are you working with?
Could you try out with a different camera and see if the issue persist?
