Hello,

in the Thumbnail the Overlay for the File Informations are missing. In older Versions are displayed File-Names - Exifdata, Ratings, Flags ...

I Apple iOS App for iPhone and iPad it's available. Why do you delete this Feature?

This feature are for see the File Information in a list of may files and I can select the needed Files. For Example for Add to a Album or to export all files with 5 Ratings or Flags.

Currently I only use the Filter.

Dear Christian,

The information overlay in thumbnail view cycles through a few settings when you tap with two fingers.

Try a two-finger tap (or maybe several taps) and see if you get back to what you wanted to see.

Hi Christian,

I have just checked both my iPad and iPhone and it seems to work for me. A two finger tap on the grid cycles through the following states:

File Types > Flags & Ratings > Photo Info > Exif Info > Comments & Likes >  Hiding Info

it works on both my devices equally well. I’ll post some screen shots in a moment to illustrate.

Christian,

I'm sorry, I misread your original post - I see you are using an Android device and not iOS - my experience is only with the iOS version.

Perhaps one of the Adobe staff such as Akash Sharma could jump in and comment about the Android features. Here is what I see on my iPad and iPhone as an example:

Thanks MichaelJ.Hoffman for bringing this to our notice.

Christian, Sorry that you're unable to see the image info on Lightroom CC for Android.

Do you have the option "Show info" selected in the flyout menu at the upper right corner?

Hello Akash,

This Work in Android but no File Information in the Grid View.

Why Adobe delete this on the Android App and only available in iOS Version?

For example the Apple Mac Version are have the same Problem it only display in the edit Mode and not in the Grid View.

Hi Christian,

I am getting this checked. I do not have an older version of Lr CC Android installed so will have to check whether it used to work in previous versions on not.

The ability to view and cycle through various File info details in the Grid view was removed from Lightroom CC on Android few versions back to incorporate other priority features.

We'd love to get this request and feedback submitted officially as a feature request so the engineering team can review this. Could you please post this feedback here: Lightroom CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community

Regards,

Akash

How this is from 2018 and there is still no solution for this? Adobe is such a big company with so many resources. How difficult is it to bring back a crucial feature which was already built in?

Please bring back the file infos like rating etc. back to the Lightroom Android App. It can't be that difficult can it? It's such a crucial feature and it shouldn't take Adobe more than 4 years to bring back a feature, which was already implemented before.
