Lightroom Mobile is much worse on Pixel 2 than iPhone

After being really impressed with ease of use on my 7 plus, I'm finding LR Mobile to be essentially unusable on my pixel 2. The images are blurry, some commands simply don't respond, etc. Anyone else having these issues? If so, any tips on how to optimize LR for Android? Specifically on the pixel 2? Thsnks!
