We're sorry about the trouble. Would you mind telling us which IOS version you are using? We tried reproducing the issue but were not able to (please see attched screenshot). Are you facing this issue with a specific file format?
If you are using the app through a subscription, please go to Lightroom.adobe.com to ensure that all the images are synced and backed up. Then re-install the app to check if that helps.
