RAW files storage on android

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out where does Lightroom store the RAWs on Android devices.

My workflow is the following (with the Cloud sync disabled):

1) I copy the RAW files from my camera to the internal storage of the tablet to a specific folder

2) From Lightroom I import the files.

After that if I manually remove a raw file from the folder it remains in the Lightroom album and I can edit it and if I detele a photo in Lightroom is not removed from the folder.

Is Lightroom duplicating the files? Is it possible to avoid this in order to save storage?
