I am running iOS 11.4.1 on an iPhone 7 and have Lightroom CC installed and up to date. Every single time I enter my Adobe login I see the welcome screen for a second and then the app crashes. I've tried restarting the phone to no avail. I'm out of troubleshooting ideas.

Deleting and reinstalling the app worked. Not sure why I didn't think of that. 😛

Thanks

Hi,

do you have any work saved within the app that you haven't synced?
If not - does a reinstall help?

If you do have any images not yet synced to the cloud: you can recover them by following this help document.

How to recover Lightroom for mobile (iOS) photos using iTunes File Sharing

Thanks,

Ignacio

I am having the same issue upon opening Lightroom CC (4.2.0) on iPhone 8 plus running iOS 12.1.4. It opens the app and shows the Lightroom logo, but quickly crashes back to the home screen. I have deleted the app, restarted the phone and reinstalled the app with zero results.

Hi,

do you get past the logo if you set the device to use flight mode when starting the app?

Thanks,

No, this does not change the outcome. The app still crashes as the logo screen.

If so, I just tried to open Lightroom CC while in airplane mode and it does not get past the logo screen before crashing.

I still have not seen any sort of resolution to this? I sent the files requested but I have not seen any sort of reply as to a resolution.

Hi Rachel,

Apologies for not coming back to you earlier.

The issue that you are seeing is an extremely rare issue and we do not yet know exactly what's causing it.

I'm wondering if you've used any iOS beta versions on your device.

Normally a reinstall will help against a crasher on startup, where you can never use the app.
However in this particular case it doesn't.

The solution that has helped other users was to do a device reset, which is far from a good resolution.

Regards,

Ignacio
