Hi! Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yes, Lighrtroom has access to Photo pp, read and write .. i mean the direct import to Lightroom; Between January and February it worked, when I connected the cameras, the import window automatically opened within Lightroom, now no longer. I tried restarting all devices and apps (including logging off and logging in to the account) and various cameras (Fujifilm, Panasonic).

I am experiencing the same. I plug my SD card reader (with card) into my iPad and nothing happens.
Previously, Lightroom CC would automatically open a download window.

Same here.
Direct import don’t work anymore, no matter if the camera is connected directly to the iPad/iPhone (through original Apple Lightning/USB3 Connector) or if the original Apple Lightning SD card reader is used.
Used Cameras: Olympus E-M1 and E-M1 Mk II.
Direct import was fully working until march 2020.
The SD-card is recognized correctly by the iPad and the content can be seen in the Files- and Foto-app.
Lightroom app is up to date (5.2.4) and have all rights given that can be given in the Settings-app.
IPad-OS is up to date.
Workaround:
You can import the fotos from the SD-card directly through the Files-app in Lightroom (see screenshot, in german, but position of the entry may the same)
But indeed, that isn't quiete comfortable.

I don't know if it's IOS or LR .. I hope the adobe team reads this thread and talks to Apple about it if necessary.

Hi,
please let us know which iOS version you are on as well as which camera types you have a problem with (brand is not enough since this issue can occur to specific cameras).
Logging out will most likely not solve the problem.
In case of an occational hickup a device restart might, although I don't expect it.
Thanks,
Ignacio

It works now, setting was "off" (but I haven't changed there anything since I started using LR). Thank you! Problem solved.

Good clue!
I had two entries for Lightroom there.
One was checked, one wasn't.
After unchecking the checked entry it disappears.
After checking the "second" entry, the import worked again.
Thank you!
