I edit my raw pictures in Lightroom on my iPad and export selected photos to the camera roll. Until recently, tapping the share icon and selecting "Export to Camera Roll" would accomplish this. Today this method repeatedly failed. In spite of Lightroom displaying "This photo successfully exported", no image appears in the camera roll's dedicated Lightroom album (or in any album) as it used to do. Could this be the unexpected result of an iOS or Lightroom update? Please advise on a way to resolve this. Thank you.
This issue is related to the security settings of the most recent iOS and iPadOS update (14.0.1). By default the iPadOS informs the user when an app's data is shared. The user is given options to manage the data sharing. To insure that your edited photos can be exported to camera roll or that camera roll photos can be exported to Lightroom or other Creative Cloud apps adjust your settings to allow the app access to all photos.
