When can I delete the original photos on an iPad after importing them?

I’ve been doing quite a lot of editing directly on my iPad. I import the original RAW files using an SD card reader, using the native Photos app.

After I import the RAW files into Lightroom, do I need to leave them on the iPad in the native photos app? Can I delete them straight away, or after the images have been uploaded to the Adobe Cloud?

Once the images are imported into Lightroom, they can technically be deleted from the Camera Roll. However, to be safe, it’s best to leave then in the Camera Roll, if you can afford the space, until the images have fully synchronized with the Adobe Creative Cloud storage.
