Album photo sort order for Lightroom CC

The order of photos in an album on Adobe's Lightroom website do not match the order of the photos on Lightroom CC, running on my PC. That is a problem because sort order is an artistic decision. How would you fix that?

In the Lightroom cloud ecosystem, you can SET a custom sort order in various places (LrWeb, LrMobile, and - if you use it - LR Classic). You can DISPLAY the album in that custom order in the LrDesktop app, but you cannot SET the custom order there (yet). So, create your custom order in one of the apps I mentioned, then change the sort order in LrDesktop to Custom Order if you want to see the album in that order.
