Automatic import from iCloud

I had been using Lightroom on a PC for a while, then installed Lightroom Mobile on an iPad. It seems Lightroom imported about 4,000 photos stored locally on the iPad, nearly filling up my 20GB of Adobe cloud storage. So, two questions:

1) How to prevent Lightroom from automatically importing photos from a device?

2) Is there any way to delete from Adobe cloud storage just those photos initially imported, and leave intact those photos added or edited since?

Many thanks for any advice!

You can turn that preference off. Go to the settings under the gear icon. Tap on Import. Turn off Auto Add from Camera Roll.
