Blue patches on photos

Please help, not sure what is happening.  I am viewing photos in the new version of Lightroom and it is showing blue 'smudges'/patches/highlights over the photo.
The problem fixes when I Reset the photo to original
Could this be caused from having originally edited the photo in Lightroom classic?  (which I think may have been the case).  However i would have expected better integration between Lightroom classic and the newer version.  Thanks in advance
