BUG Stacks - reverting to photo grid returns user to start of album

I am creating stack from my multi-shot images.

This could be just a few pics in the middle of a 500 image album

i create the stack

i open the stack to review and set cover

its when i return to the album by clicking on the "photo grid" or "Square grid" that the problem occurs

it correctly returns to the photo grid at the location i left but when i click the image after the stack i create it immediately opens the first image in the album or for that matter in "all photos"

I lose my place and need to scroll endlessly to find my previous location

Bug or am i doing something wrong in trying to return from the stack to the grid and then open the very next picture after the stack?

Looks like a Bug to me (unless it's by design, but why would it be!)
