I’ve used LR Classic for years, have 30,000 pictures, takes up a lot of room on my HD. Thinking about changing to Lightroom (formerly CC) and wondering these things:
- Will Lightroom online keep my full size photos in the cloud or on my local HD?
- Can I chose which one?
- Will I still be able to download and edit pix in LR Classic if I need some advanced capabilities?
- Is Lightroom (formerly CC) sufficiently advanced now, and error free, so that I can trust it as my main editor and DAM?
- How much space will Lightroom (formerly CC) require on my local HD?
- Is an app like Mylio a better DAM than either LR Classic or Lightroom (formerly CC)?
- Is the conversion from LR Classic to Lightroom easy enough to do, AND easy enough to reverse?
