Filmstrip edits not consistent

Hello,

I've come across a weird behaviour in LRC that I've never seen before. I've surfed plenty of forums googling phrases that I've thought would lead me to a solution but to no avail.

So, my problem is this. I've got a folder that contains photos, with metadata written into sidecar XMPs, and I've verified that the edits are in the XMPs. My problem is that LRC doesn't recognise the edits until I actually click on one of the photos. And then when I select another photo the edit of the first photo I clicked disappears. Re-clicking this photo brings back the edit into view, but then another photo is "unedited". Attached a screen snip of the edits I've done to one of the pics.

I know it sounds real weird. But I've attached a video under a link below (the community wouldn't allow me to attach a video from Streamable because the link is too short) and the video will show what I mean.

Detailed system specs below, but in short i7-9750h, rtx 2060, 16gb ram and 1tb ssd. LRC 9,4 CR 12,4

Any suggestions?

Cheers, Sebastian

Oh, one thing I need to add.

I've recently switched laptops and these edits were originally made on the old laptop.

LRC does NOT exhibit the same behaviour for edits that were made on the new laptop.

I've imported all the photos and xmps into a new catalogue on the new computer.

Thanks,

(don't know how to edit my OP)
