Force a fresh people index

I just migrated from Lightroom Classic to CC, the faces migrated as said on the forums, but there are some photos that the same person is marked twice. The problem looks like to be an old face mark, with a new search and index by Lightroom CC.

As my library is not that big, I'd like to delete all the faces/people, and start fresh letting Lightroom CC scan and group people.

Is there a way to do it?

Hi there,

As some photos are marked twice, you can merge the two groups together and then it will refresh on it's own: Find and organize photos of people in the People View

Hi Sturm-Brazil

With the latest Lighroom CC Desktop version (2.2), you can.

  1. Go to people view.
  2. unname all the clusters. ( none of the clusters should be named )
  3. Go to preferences
  4. General Tab
  5. Disable People View
  6. Hit Done
  7. Wait for a day or 2 ( just to be sure, the cloud has deleted all the face info)

  1. Go back to preference
  2. General tab
  3. Enable People view
  4. Wait for a day or 2, to index all your photos
