Welcome to the Community!
As of now adding watermark to images is not possible in Lightroom, you may add your vote to an ongoing feature request here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/watermarks-in-lr-cc This forum is directly monitored by our developers and they might look into implementing thi in future releases.
You can use Lightroom Classic as a workaround to add watermarks to your images: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/help/using-watermark-editor.html#apply_a_copyright_wate...
Hope this helps.
i don't understand - until the recent update, i had a watermark... now, even tho i have verified my settings and told it to apply... nothing. what has happened? 😞
I use Lightroom Classic and I am no longer able to watermark my photos. The Watermark choice is grayed-out. What is going on? You said Lightroom Classic is a "workaround" for the person who asked how if it was possible to watermark in LR, but in fact I use LR Classic and in the last day I have lost the ability to watermark. Please explain and if this feature has been removed, why and when will it be available again. IMNSHO it should NEVER have been removed!
You need to set up and save the watermark and then choose to apply it in the export dialog.
In Lightroom Classic go to:
Edit >> Edit Watermarks (Windows)
Lightroom Classic >> Edit Watermarks (Mac)
