Keywords in Lightroom CC

I am new to Lightroom and want to add keywords to images imported into Lightroom but cannot see where metadata can be edited. Same with author, etc. Any help for this newby is appreciated.

Are using the desktop version? Simply select a thumbnail and click the tag icon bottom-right and enter your keyword in the box at the top of the pane. You can select multiple thumbnails and the keyword will be added to all of the selected items.
