Does anyone know how to get rid of the history (?) box or albums in the May release of Lightroom. Or how to delete previous albums from being shown. This just started happening with the latest release of Lightroom. Please advise. Thanx . . .  bgs.

I'm not trying to delete empty albums . . . .  I'm trying to delete an "invite" to view other albums. I did stumble upon he solution and it's been resolved. Thanx for replying, though. . . .the correct answer is . . .  next to the add photos button, there are 3 dots . . .  click on the dots and an option to leave the invitation is there. . . .  this also, eliminates the "invited album." . . . bgs.

If you log-in to the main page rather than a shared link you should be able to delete empty albums.

https://lightroom.adobe.com/

Go to all photos, select (highlight) the empty album in the list on the left and then click the three-dot menu top right. One of the options is delete album. You will be asked to confirm.

If you have the desktop version of Lightroom installed you can also right-click on any album to choose delete.
